There’s a new tequila brand on the block and being the equal opportunity drinkers that we are, we just HAD to check it out. Up and comer Autentico Tequila Alacran celebrated its hyped launch on the stunning roof deck at Hotel Americano last Friday to a crowd of sexy fashionistas who had just finished up a long day at the MBFW shows.
Autentico’s Mezcal liquor was toasted poolside by friends and media supporters at the soiree that included potent margaritas and inventive hors d’oeuvres. Meanwhile their CEO, Ernesto Ibarra Henkel, poured samples of the entire product line for attendees.
“We’re overwhelmed with pride to have organized such a major brand launch event during New York Fashion Week. We want to thank all of our supporters who helped make the Autentico Mezcal Alacran launch event such a glorious and memorable event that we all will remember for years to come,” stated Henkel.
Special guests included Double Seven owner Mark Baker, Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen of Bravo TV’s New York Housewives alum, former New York Mets pitcher Sean Green, and all of the top press in the city.
Founded in 2010 in Mexico City, Autentico has grown at a rapid pace and its products are served at New York’s sexiest lounges including LAVO, Provocateur, The Darby, Cipriani and abroad. Autentico Tequila Alacran products are featured during this year’s New York Fashion Week including top fashion shows, parties and special events. Hotel Americano owner Carlos Couturier quipped, “We feel very honored to be a part of such a successful and memorable event in Autentico brand history.”
