Since Mother-Nature can’t seem to make up her mind these days, the normal Winter landscape in NYC and the activities that go along with it have had to be put on ice. That was until, Sally Golan of Social Exposure teamed up with Flavorpill to host the Adult Winter Wonderland party, held on January 30th at AM Studios.
AM Studios was transformed into an “impromptu Igloo”, where guests were transported back to their childhood memories, like those fun snow days off from school. The party featured Winter spiced cocktails sponsored all evening by Cayrum, and an interactive Ice Luge by Okomoto Designs.
Snow days and baked goods, usually went hand in hand, (or hand to mouth); so Winter themed chocolates and cakes provided by local NYC Chocolatier: The Chocolate Swirl, and everyone’s favorite mini cupcakes from Baked by Melissa, gave guests the perfect sugar high to participate in the indoor snowball fight by Sno Wonder.
Another cool treat, we got to try from Enlightened ice cream, proved to be enlightening as well good for us. For those snow bunnies seeking relief for their tired hands and dry skin, Caribbean Joe Skin Care was on site, offering complimentary hand massages.
The party would not have been complete without the Naughty Arctic Photo Booth. The Winter Wonderland Social Media Photo booth by MRI Lightpainting, used an iPhone to take pictures, add filters to photos, and then tweeted the shots out to guests. The iced out penguins chilling on the backdrop, were painted by Alexis Anne Marino and Giulio Bertoli.
