For the 14th consecutive year, ChefDance fed over 200 Sundance Film Festival in attendees each night in Park City, Utah, courtesy of world renowned chefs Brian Malarkey and Shawn McClain.
Notable guests that attended the annual Sundance dinner series, ChefDance presented by Sysco and GiftedTaste, included Keanu Reeves, Parker Posey, Brody Jenner, DJ Paul Oakenfold, Julie Ormond, and more. Guests braved the winter chill thanks to beanies provided by American Made Supply Co.
ChefDance brings the country’s finest chefs together with the festival’s hottest actors, hosting lavish luncheons and nightly dinners paired with specialty cocktails. But possibly the only thing more impressive than the guestlist was the food.
The first inaugural ChefDance event was developed to coincide with the film festival, providing the perfect marriage of fine food and film. ChefDance events are held in the Memorial Building located at 427 Main Street in Park City. ChefDance invites great guests, companies, and chefs to celebrate food, culture and film enthusiasts in an exclusive setting that promises great experiences, great connections, and unforgettably great moments. A ChefDance invitation has become the most coveted ticket of the festival.
Each evening, a world-renowned celebrity chef will create a gourmet menu for a diverse group of guests, which include the cast and crews of the festival’s top films. ChefDance founders, LA couple Kenny Griswold and Mimi Kim, created the first inaugural ChefDance in 2004 to provide the perfect marriage of fine food and film.

ABOUT CHEFDANCE CEO MIMI KIM
As the driving force behind the highly-acclaimed series ChefDance, Mimi Kim Is truly a force to be reckoned with and continues to make great strides in breaking through the glass ceiling. With a Bachelor’s degree from Barnard College and Masters from Columbia University, Kim Holds quite an impressive resume which includes some of the most notable companies within the business industry such as Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brother’s and Goldman Sachs. After Moving to Los Angeles, Kim served as the market planning strategist for Fox for the launch of FX and FXM. She moved on from Fox to Hunter Global Ventures as the CEO, investing in Real Estate, Communication, Retail and Internet sectors. Kim forged forward and continued to finance and invest in various entertainment properties in LA including Sunset Room, Highlands and Mint. After her 2003 nuptials to husband Kenny Griswold, the duo founded ChefDance, LLC in 2003 which has grown to be a premier culinary experience over the last 14 years.
The Inception of ChefDance began when Kim attended the Sundance Film Festival for the first time in 2002. Moved by her passion for food, she noticed that the culinary offerings in this world-class resort community were severely limited, especially during a prestigious event such as the Sundance Film Festival. She and her husband saw a great opportunity to bridge entertainment and business by inviting great chefs, great films and great company’s with the standard of service in mind that “If I can create an event or a dinner party that would enjoy, others will too.” ChefDance provides a comfortable and enjoyable environment to engage in conversations and leave a little more enlightened and inspired by others.
