About Randall’s Island Park Alliance:

For 25 years, RIPA has worked with the City and local communities to provide an innovative and exciting destination through a wide range of sports venues, cultural events and environmental exploration. As the dedicated steward of Randall’s Island Park, the Alliance sustains, maintains, develops and programs the 330 acre Park to support the wellbeing of all New Yorkers. Park improvements include Icahn Stadium, an IAAF-accredited track & field facility; the 20-court Sportime Tennis Center; the renovated golf center; an urban farm; nearly 20 acres of restored wetlands and natural areas; miles of waterfront pathways; and over 60 new playing fields. RIPA works to fund, implement and expand public programs to make the most of these remarkable facilities. In partnership with dozens of local public schools and community-based organizations, RIPA annually brings thousands of children to the Park for free sports and environmental education activities at the Stadium, wetlands and urban farm. RIPA also offers a range of free year-round family-friendly events at the Park, including festivals at the urban farm, waterfront and wetland activities, open runs at Icahn Stadium, garden tours and more.
