Recently the New York Women’s Alliance (NYWCA). hosted a fantastic event featuring the newly released Toni Tipton-Martin book, Jubilee, featuring the history and recipes of two centuries of African-American cooking.
The evening spotlighted some of the dishes in the new book along with a Q & A with the author herself. Some dishes include orange-glazed chicken wings, southern pecan pie, Beehive and Firefly Farm Cheeses, as well as Tussock Jumper Wines.
