Town & Country hosted a great event for those bride-to-bes and wedding event planners. Held at the gorgeous St. Regis Hotel, a prime wedding venue for those baller enough to handle it, there were various stations of vendors showing their expertise.
The first thing that caught my eye was the stand of spectacularly sparkly jewelry from Hearts on Fire. After being reminded that I am nowhere close to being engaged and would never be able to afford any of their rings, my attention then wandered over to the cake by Sylvia Weinstock. Samples were being passed around, which were enjoyable enough for the event, but I’m sure bridezillas would want to custom make them to suite their own tastes. There were beautiful (and, to be honest, some not so beautiful) bridal gowns from AcQuachara of Italy, with models pulling up their trains to wander around and mingle with guests.
Also there were representatives from Michael C. Fina, with jewelry and gift ideas; New York Wedding Dance was there to teach us all the proper moves; Francesca Events, a wedding event planning company showcasing their past successes; NYC Photo Booth, equipped with a photo booth for us to test out; William Arthur stationary, with hundreds of stationary samples to gain inspiration on; Renny & Reed, for magnificent floral and design ideas; and Sarah DiCicco, for elegant wedding photography. Pretty much the event showcased everything you ever needed in order to plan for a wedding. Except for a caterer: but the event had in-house catering that they used for passed hor d’oeuvres for this event.
Now that I have been inspired and know what I want for my future wedding, the next step for me is to find the groom!
