On November 9th, 2009, Montblanc presented the 9th annual production of The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway!  Benefiting Urban Arts Partnership, the event was at the American Airlines Theater with an after party at The Opera Ballroom at Crest.

The 24 Hour Plays attracted some of entertainment’s biggest names as they joined forces to write, direct, and perform six original short plays in 24 hours.  This year produced the most star‐studded cast that the project has ever seen and celebrated the Broadway debuts of Eva Mendes, Ashton Kutcher, John Krasinski (a personal favorite!), and many others. The sold out show drew a celebrity packed audience that moved to the after party at the Opera Ballroom at Crest.

Other noteable guests included Montblanc CEO of North America, Jan‐Patrick Schmitz, and Adam Duritz, Amber Tamblyn, Anthony Mackie, Billy Crudup, Brooke Shields, Cassie, Chris Henchy, Claudie Blakley, David Cross, Demi Moore, Diane Neal, Emily Blunt, Emmy Rossum, Fisher Stevens, Glenda Bailey, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Esposito, Jeremy Sisto,  Julia Stiles, Leslie Bibb, Liev Schreiber, Michael Ealy, Michael Urie, Montego Glover, Naomi Watts, Nina Persson, Rachel Dratch, Rosario Dawson, Rosie Perez, Sam Rockwell, Sean Combs, Tracie Thoms, Woody Harrelson, and many others!  Talk about star-studded performances!

Montblanc has been a global supporter of arts & culture and continues this platform through their support of The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway.  This years production was the first to showcase an emerging writer from the Montblanc Writers Project.  One winner out of six emerging writers was chosen by members of Talenthouse (that we have featured before) and had the opportunity of a lifetime to write for an all star cast on Broadway.
