My accomplice for the evening, Katharine Ricci of NYC Recession Diary, joined me on the top level of the 3-story store for some wine and Peroni beers while we got to take a look at Diesel‘s current Spring 2010 collection.
There were copies of the latest GQ Mag lying around featuring Shia LaBeouf (didn’t they have him on the cover not too long ago, June 2008? What on earth is he even doing now?), which we also got in our goody bag along with a Diesel keychain and tote bag.
The crowd was fabulously dressed casual-but-oh-so-cool, so we stuck around while listening to the DJ – taking note of her super cute short velvet dress topped with a sleak blazer – until the end of the evening.
I must say that I do enjoy Diesel’s “Be Stupid” campaign that we see so prevalently everywhere, namely the West 4th Station where you walk through a tunnel of their ads. As we all are slightly stupid sometimes, it’s a good slogan that we can all relate to!
