As we’re headed into the spring months, we’re ready for some cocktails to go with the better weather.  Kahlúa’s robust flavors of Arabica coffee, vanilla and spice are perfect for the springtime to relax, sip and enjoy in the sun.

Kahlúa has given us three recipes to try out, so try your hand at being both a mixologist and a barista.  My fav is the Kahlúa Martini – just try not to go into the office after too many of these in your morning coffee.  For a little refreshing springtime fizz, try the Kahlúa and Sparkling Water combo.  Use ginger ale instead of soda water for a little extra pizazz.

Kahlúa Black Russian


 

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Kahlúa
  • 1 part Absolut Vodka
  • Ice

How to mix:  
Fill a rocks glass with ice, add Kahlúa and Absolut Vodka and stir.

 
Kahlúa Espresso Martini

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 parts Kahlúa
  • 1 part Absolut Vodka
  • 1 fresh brewed espresso

How to mix:  
Fill a shaker with ice, add Kahlúa, Absolut Vodka and a fresh brewed espresso. Shake vigorously, and strain into a chilled martini glass.

Kahlúa & Sparkling Water

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Kahlúa
  • 4 parts soda water
  • Ice
  • Lime

How to mix: 
Pour Kahlúa into a highball glass filled with ice. Add soda water. Top it with a lime and serve.
