Whenever a new boozy beverage gets rolled out in New York, there is a party.  These events have become ubiquitous and hardly raise an eyebrow anymore for those on the social circuit, but it seems that Hpnotiq decided to up the ante for the introduction of their newest spirit, Hpnotiq Harmonie.

Tapping Khloe Kardashian Odom to be their ‘host with the most’ at the fabulous new Dream Hotel Downtown in Meatpacking District, they already had us intrigued.  Love her or hate her, Khloe knows how to rule the red carpet (as proven at Pacha earlier this year) and managed to have us all feeling warm and fuzzy after her prompt arrival and friendly interview sessions.

A self professed Hpnotiq connoisseur, Khloe stopped to speak with us about her summer and shared that she’s been enjoying plenty of fun in the pool with Lamar and his kids.  Oh, and of course there’s that upcoming bachelorette party she’s been planning for her sister, Kim Kardashian.  Those details are under tight wraps, but she did reveal that there will be plenty of embarrassing moments in the cards for prim-and-proper Kim!

Upon arriving upstairs, we were immediately lavished with custom Hpnotiq Harmonie cocktails from festive cocktail waitresses and bestowed gift bags filled with goodies including sweets from the bountiful candy bar.  Making our way past the massive tropical flower arrangements flanking the bar, we discovered yet another delight: sparkly cupcake tower topped with a dazzling dame who smiled down on the room and posed throughout the night.

Proving that they know how to throw a party, we were blown away at all the little touches throughout the room that added to the Hpnotiq flair – purple rock candy votive candles, pink throw pillows for the couches branded with the Harmonie logo, or even the girly-girl duo of DJ Mia Moretti and her sidekick Caitlyn Moe, who gave an electric violin performance that shook the entire room.

As if the beautiful people in the room needed anything more than a carefully crafted cocktail and a sick view overlooking midtown, there were also plenty of gourmet hors d’oeuvres to go around.  Ever tried a tuna tartar filled waffle cone? Or prosciutto wrapped artichoke? Kudos to the Chef, because every bite was heaven!

This was not your ordinary liquor party.  But then again, since when has Hpnotiq ever pretended to be anything ordinary?!

Cheers,
