The Style Network showed off their newest reality stars on Thursday night with a premiere party to launch “Glam Fairy”, the new series featuring Alexa Prisco and her entourage of glamorous style experts.  Alexa, who we first met on “Jerseylicious” is now spinning off her own show and giving full makeovers to young ladies in need of a beauty transformation.  Her ‘fairies’ offer everything from wardrobe, hair, and makeup styling to their lucky clients on each episode.

Held at the swanky Gansevoort Park Hotel on Thursday, October, the Penthouse was full of glitzy décor to make the room come to life as if it were its own character.  Giant-sized framed portraits of each fairy were on display throughout the space, with various pink and white lighting used to highlight the artwork.  Of course, the hot pink and leopard print props and pillows made it feel even more girly.  Multiple style stations were available for guests to get their own “smoky eye” makeup application, which is Alexa’s signature glamour stamp.

Partygoers included a small army of Style Network executives (oh, the barrage of hot suits!) along with fans of the show and friends of the fairies.  The girls from Jerseylicious also came out to show their support, and you can bet there will be just as much drama on the new spinoff as you’ve come to expect from the previous cadre of Jersey girls.  Rumor has it that the two guys on the show have the very first catfight!

As we’ve found with previous events at Gansevoort, there were enough passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails (pink, of course) to feed a small country.  We especially loved the over-the-top dessert bar at the end of the night.  Hotel staff dressed in black Glam Fairy t-shirts and donned belts featuring a rainbow of pink lipsticks.  Disco music helped set the scene as the fairies worked the room and greeted their guests.

“Glam Fairy” premieres Sunday night, October 23 at 8pm.  For firsthand accounts of their adventures, follow @theglamfairies on Twitter and tune in every Sunday night on the Style Network.
