On Wednesday Evening, Lipton Tea hosted press and bloggers at The Park to introduce their latest products and philanthropic efforts. Guests were greeted and escorted to the bar to try the signature cocktails that were created specifically for the event.
The Bavarian Wild Berry Cosmopolitan, which was less tart than a usual cosmo, perfectly blended with the other ingredients to make it a very dangerous concoction. The second cocktail was the Seasonal Mulled Punch, which was a little more seasonal and would be a great addition to any holiday party.
For those that did not want to partake in alcoholic beverages, there was also a tea tasting station where Lipton was able to showcase their new tea flavors. Although some of the combinations are unconventional, like the Passionfruit and Coconut Green Tea, they were all subtle flavors that did not overpower the experience.
There were different tea blending sessions that night where partygoers were able to create their own tea with Lipton’s resident tea picker. Guests were given a choice of different types of flavor notes and chose combinations based on their preferences.
Lipton also arranged for the Rainforest Alliance to be present to educate attendees on their partnership, which was important because most people are not aware of the efforts a large well-known company like Lipton is taking to be eco-friendly. Green Living Expert, Sara Snow was also on hand to give insight on how beneficial this union is from a sustainable standpoint.
The most exciting announcement of the evening, however, was the Lipton Cares contest. Lipton will be sending one grand prize winner to their tea estate in Kenya to see firsthand the efforts they are making for the environment. On top of that, Lipton will be giving the winner $25,000 to use to better their community.
No one left the event empty handed because Lipton sent everyone home with Lipton Tea, a wooden tea container, a coffee/tea tumbler and the recipes from the evening in an eco-friendly tote.
