“Performing these concerts were so personal to me,” said Columbia Records/Sony Music artist, Beyonce.  “Music is an expression of who I am and my performances needed to reflect my fashion aesthetic as well as the production elements incorporated into the staging for the shows.”  She continued, “My mother and I are so close and connected on so many levels, both personally and professionally. House of Dereon Creative Director Tina Knowles said, “This is the fun part of the job! To be able to design costumes for stage is a complete thrill on every level. Through fashion, we are able to add an exciting visual component to the live performance which is what going to a concert is all about!”
