It may have started off to a slow start, but the new modern American restaurant, headed by Chef Seth Levine, has finally arrived in SoHo. Last week, Socially Superlative was invited to attend the opening of this chic new restaurant in Manhattan.
Chef Levine brings over ten years of culinary experience to RSVP and has created a menu consisting unique American dishes with a refreshing twist that will keep diners coming back. RSVP is owned by Jon Bakshi and the restaurant features a sunken dining room with a centerpiece of crystal chandeliers, a surrounding balcony, elegant mirrors, and contemporary wall decorations. They will also offer private dining in the ‘The Greenroom’ which is centered around a crystal chandelier with seating to accommodate up to 40 guests.
”My goal is to have RSVP be known as the foremost luxury hospitality brand catering to elite clientele,” said owner Jon Bakhshi. “From the standout service to the elegant decor, sophisticated menu and the sexy ambience, EVERYONE will want to RSVP for dinner and stay all night.”
I must say the décor was nice. Looking over the menu, it is apparent this is a $$$$ restaurant and, quite frankly, a little bit out of my price range with menu items range from $30 to $50. Elite clientele, indeed!
RSVP will have an ‘All Day, Every Day Brunch,’ featuring dishes including Peanut Butter and Jelly Pancakes, Truffle Egg Toast, and a signature RSVP Stuffed French Toast Box. Other menu highlights include Beef Tartare Tacos, Foie Gras Dumplings, Prosciutto and Figs Brulee, Truffle Honey Rack of Lamb, Truffle Artichoke Pizza, and Lobster Ravioli in Lobster Bisque Sauce and a raw bar. RSVP is 7 days a week for lunch, brunch and dinner.
When night hits, RSVP transforms into sophisticated lounge open until 2 a.m. Hours are Sunday to Wednesday from 12 until midnight and Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 12 until 2 a.m.
