The latest reincarnation of the famed Copacabana supper club has been going strong for a full year now, and with the arrival of summer they are putting the final feather in their cap by opening a roof deck to top all others.

With a retractable sunroof that offers year-round use of the spacious patio, guests have plenty of room to lounge while soaking up the sunshine.  Copa VIPs and media friends were invited for a sneak peek recently and were greeted by costumed dancers at the door and refreshing mojitos upon arrival (perfect way to stave off the heat wave that New York City is enduring).  We ran into Ashley Speranza from Doggie Moms who was taking a break from reality drama for the night to enjoy the roof deck views as well!

Gourmet snacks and light bites were front and center for everyone to enjoy (check out the amazing empanadas!), while our host showed us around the Times Square area mega-club.   Featuring three floors of latin-infused entertainment, their ballroom alone is 15,000 square feet and can seat up to 350 people for private parties.

Chef Alex Garcia, a Cuban native, has been heating up New York’s latin food scene since 1994 and presents an extensive buffet dinner every Tuesday evening.  On Friday and Saturday nights, the supper club offers a $45 pre-fixe menu for seatings after 8pm, which includes nightclub admission.

Catch your next happy hour on the roof deck all summer long at Copacabana and then stick around for dinner and dancing on the weekends.
