The time is  here!! One of my favorite seasons of the year is Fall. The reasons why? Mercedes Benz Fashion Week of course–New York Fashion Week to be technical.

Like last season, I have written a “re-cap” of my Top 3 shows I missed during the write up. This time, I am featuring mini reviews from my favorite shows I took in during Fall 2012 MBFW! Because I went to so many shows, I will break it down to two parts. The first recap will include the following Fall 2012 designer collection: Tadashi Shoji, Rebecca Taylor, Katya Leonovich, Porter Grey and Jill Stuart.

Tadashi Shoji Fall 2012 Collection

One of my favorite collections from Tadashi Shoji. The devil is in the details! And my oh my–This collection is exquisite.  Glamorized cocktail dresses dominated the runway this season and just in time for the upcoming Emmys.   Romantic & Old Hollywood Glamour is what I would summed up Tadashi Shoji perfect collection.

Rebecca Taylor Fall 2012 Collection

For the Fourth season, I had the pleasure of attending Rebecca Taylor’s Fall 2012 runway show at the Lincoln Center. This season, we saw a far edgier  Rebecca Taylor women. I like the new addition of the “Varsity-Styled” jackets & layering. The Top trends of last season was Leather, Lace, Black on Black, More Color-Blocking and Bold Prints (Which are here to stay).

Katya Leonovich Fall 2012 Collection

My first time attending a presentation by Russian Designer, Katya Leonovich. I was so stunned seeing the well made, detailed  clothing up close. My favorite part of the presentation? The accessories! So gorgeous. If you are not familiar with her work, you will eventually–She is one to watch! You can visit her website here.

Porter Grey Fall 2012 Collection

One of my favorite designers, the loveable Alexandra and Kristen O’Neill. It’s great seeing the girls and also seeing their collections grow each season! This season reminded me of the Upper West Side. The cool kids up North meets Downtown. I love every single piece and could see celebrities scooping up pieces from the chic collection!

Last but certainly not least…

Jill Stuart Fall 2012 Collection

Another first. I always admired Jill Stuart’s skilled technique when it comes to designing. I had the pleasure of meeting her back in 2011 at TeenVogue Haute Spot. The Fall collection is versatile and remarkable. It featured all, if not, most of the Top Fall trends! Definitely a collection I will not forget.
