The Central Park Conservancy’s Second Annual Autumn in Central Park

Thursday, November 8, 2012

Adjacent to Tavern on the Green
located in Central Park at 67th Street and Central Park West

The Central Park Conservancy’s annual gala to raise funds for the restoration, maintenance and management of Central Park. Attendees will enjoy a cocktail reception, music (by Starlight Orchestra), dinner and dancing under the turning leaves and stars of Central Park.

The Central Park Conservancy invites supporters to celebrate autumn in Central Park at our second annual benefit event on November 8. Dine and dance under a clear-ceiling tent adjacent to historic Tavern on the Green, with a beautiful nighttime view of the tree canopy and stars up above. Over five hundred guests are expected to come out in celebration of New York City’s most treasured green space. Most importantly, the event will raise vital funds that benefit the Conservancy’s mission to restore and maintain the Park.

Autumn in Central Park tables can be secured for a donation of $10,000, $15,000, $25,000, and $50,000. Individual tickets to the gala can be purchased for a donation of $1,000, $1,500 or $2,500.

About the Central Park Conservancy

The Central Park Conservancy is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1980 to restore Central Park to its former splendor, after decades of neglect, and to manage and preserve it for present and future generations. Thanks to the generosity of many individuals, corporations, foundations, and the City, the Conservancy has invested over $650 million to date into the Park, transforming it into a model for urban parks worldwide. Through events like this, the Conservancy is able to provide 85 percent of Central Park’s $46 million budget. For more information on the Conservancy, please visit our website at
