Hudson River Park’s Pier 57

We are excited to announce the NYC Craft Beer Festival – WINTER HARVEST – featuring winter seasonal beers, taking place Saturday, December 1st, 2012, at Hudson River Park’s Pier 57 indoor event space.

Common features of Harvest Celebrations around the world feature eating, drinking, merriment, music, and romance. We are excited for our guests to join us for this Winter Harvest Craft Beer celebration. This celebration will keep you warm, and help us all get through the chilly fall days, and cold winter nights.

GRAND TASTING

From the established craft brewers to the mid-majors and up-and comers, the diversity and creativity of the American Craft Brewing Community has proven to be limitless. As Fall & Winter draw near, and we watch football and yearn to sit by the fire, we look forward to showing you how the craft brewers utilize the taste of the season in their offerings including spices, nuts, roasting, and freshly harvested hops and barley.

For our Grand Tasting, we will be featuring an extensive variety of artisanaly produced creations from America’s Top Breweries. Nearly 75 participating breweries from across the country are each expected to showcase 2 of their finest offerings (about 150 beers total) with a strong emphasis on their Limited Release and Seasonal selections. All participants will be given 2 oz pours in a 3oz Souvenir Glass.

GRAND TASTING VIP Level ticket holders are given access to the full 3.5 hours, and this limited access ticket offers the opportunity to taste all the beers in an uncrowded environment for the first hour before the General Admission audience is let inside the room for the final 2.5 hour tasting.

CONNOISSEUR Level: A very limited access lounge area in which to relax with flowing taps of some perennial favorites highlighted by a select grouping of extremely rare and limited offerings. This area will be available to our Connoisseurs for the full 3 1/2 hour session. Connoisseurs will also have the opportunity to mingle in this relaxed environment with brewery representatives and industry experts. Light fare is included.
