Socially Superlative popped up for an evening of raising awareness and funds for Mere Mist International, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing safe housing and long-term recovery for victims of sex trafficking and exploitation on Thursday, January 24, 2013.
Hosted by celebrity blogger and entertainment personality, Micah Jesse and PUAE (Pop-Up Art Event) at one of New York’s top upscale private club, Parlor NY, the ‘Freedom and Restoration Art Auction Fundraiser” was an evening comprised of artists, special performances, raffles and a chic conversant crowd.
Key-note speech was delivered by ‘Restore NYC’ and Susan Jacobs and Jimmy Lee from the Mayor’s Office of NY to Combat Domestic Violence and the Family Justice Center. The New York Philharmonic Elle Winston, Candice Harper, DJ Quarleri and others entertained guests.
Tickets sold out for $35 a ‘pop’ and paintings were being auctioned off and flying out with 100% of all the profits going back to MMI. Cheers to another successful PUAE event – art, music, cocktails, food, poetry, live painting, video installation and philanthropy awareness!
