To celebrate 25 years of ongoing success, Wine Enthusiast Magazine threw an epic Red and White Bash at the Hudson Hotel with wine free-flowing the entire evening. In addition to the abundance of delicious wines, food, live music and entertainment, 100% of the ticket proceeds went to benefit Wine to Water, a charity bringing clean drinking water to developing countries.

The event was curated by masterful event producer Adam Aleksander, who created a Moulin Rouge-burlesque-meets-traveling carnival atmosphere. An aerial performer dangled from a glowing crescent moon above the Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra, who got the crowd high-stepping on the dance floor.

In addition to all the great wine vendors, other partners and sponsors include the Dizzy Fizz, Flavorpill, Underground Eats, Saratoga Spring Water. Lovely ladies from Kropps and Bobbers were on hand to give dramatic makeovers and custom-made fascinators on the fly!

Despite the red and white theme noted in the event title, I somehow didn’t connect the dots and wore pink by mistake. Fortunately, everyone was having a fantastic time celebrating, and my poor outfit choice went unnoticed. The show must go on!
