Named after the Women’s Forum founder Elinor Guggenheimer, this year’s recipients include advocate, activist, and filmmaker Maria Cuomo Cole and President and CEO of the Paley Center for Media, Pat Mitchell.  Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe winner Glenn Close presented Ms. Mitchell’s Elly Award while Maria’s mother and former First Lady of New York state, Matilda Raffa Cuomo, presented her with the award to much fanfare.

Focusing on the Women’s Forum efforts to advance leadership through core programming, their Education Fund, and their Board Initiative, the discussion highlighted the important work of the fund and the lives of the women improved by it.
