The restaurant promises spectacular, timeless glamour within the cavernous industrial underbelly hidden behind a rough, street-front exterior, like a luscious discovery. The sprawling, multi-level 4,500 square-foot space is rumored to harbor a 16-foot wide glamorous cylindrical chandelier as well as a grand stair that brings a formality, history and social energy to the once cold and hardened space.
The menu, promising equally gorgeous and timeless fare will encourage patrons to savor the American cuisine accompanied by incredible wine from a list with over 500 labels, representing both prominent producers and rare vintages. Chef Citarella’s philosophy of simple applications elevated through the finest ingredients is evident in signature dishes such as Shaved Asparagus, Fennel and Radish Salad with Toasted Sunflower Seeds and Seared Montauk Fluke, Sweet Shrimp, and Oyster Mushrooms with Crispy Kale. Award-winning mixologist, Christian Sanders of Evelyn Drinkery will be on hand to create a unique menu of classic crafted cocktails.
With no stylistic detail over looked (even the staff uniforms are custom created by Lady & Butler and Odin) Monarch creates an unparalleled dining experience, similar to the glamour of a Canard luxury cruise ship in the early 20th century.
We are so ready to set sail!
