Fall is upon us, which means that Opera season is right around the corner.
The Metropolitan Opera hosted the Young Associates Season Preview Party with a fabulous cocktail party on the Grand Tier.
To whet our appetite for upcoming shows, the preview highlighted performances by members of the Met’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program.
Soprano Mary-Jane Lee and bass-baritone Brandon Cedel each performed a solo, and the final song was a beautiful, cheerful duet. Their magnificent voices carried through the vast space of the hall.
Guests mingled and sipped on Mionetto prosecco and Camus cognac, enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres, and listened to the enchanting performances.
Door prizes were raffled off throughout the night, with incredible gift baskets from Equinox, Coach, Kara Ross Jewelry, B&B Italia, and other fantastic sponsors. All guest also received a gift bag featuring products from Essie, Godiva, Random House, C. Wonder, and CultureHorde.com.
Whether you’re a seasoned opera lover or an opera novice, the Met Opera’s Young Association is a great opportunity to experience the Opera and mingle with other young professionals between the ages of 21 and 45.
