Taste the West Village by Socially Superlative (22)For the 5th year running P.S. 41, an elementary school in the West Village, got a helping hand as money was raised for their benefit through the annual Taste the West Village event.

I was lucky enough to have been invited to this always fun, and tasty, day and mother nature was smiling down on all of use with bright skies to complement the bright smiles of the many kids volunteering their time to help out their school (along with their parents, of course).

Many local restaurants, who were offering up some delicious food and drink for all to try, and businesses, including SoulCycle, who was giving away a gift certificate for a free class to all attendees, were in attendance. American Express was a major sponsor of this event with a sizable donation to the efforts and, in attendance, was even Philip Seymour Hoffman as well as Amy Carlson of the TV show Blue Bloods.

A special shout-out to the ladies from Le Pain Quotidien who totally hooked me up with some extra super tasty dessert bites. Thanks, gals!
