Food, drink, sun, oh, and before I forget, a band called JJROC who did totally ROCK with a 10-song set list and they (Jack on guitar / John on drums / Orion on bass / Christian with vocals) are only 10 and 11 years old and recent alum of the school!
A fitness area for both kids and adults was also part of the festivities with a rotation of active and informational sessions for both young and old. I even re-visited my own youth memories when I saw that Deer Mountain Day Camp was one of the sponsors as they were a rival camp to the one I used to attend way back in the day.
Participating restaurants included: 16 Handles, 5OZ. Factory, Bell Book & Candle, BLT Burger, Caliexco, Cole’s, Corkbuzz, Corsino Cantina, Dream Downtown, Employees Onl,y Extra Virgin, Grano Trattoria, Left Bank, Le Pain Quotidien, Monument Lane, Organic Avenue, Peanut Butter & Co, Presstea, Recette, Rosemary’s Spasso, Takashi ,Taste Buds Kitchen, and The Marrow.
