The Pier of Fear took over NYC for one long extended week spanning two weekends with Halloween smack dab in the middle of it.
EDM lovers near and far, most donned in costumes, gathered on Pier 94 off the West Side Highway for some bass-bumpin’, heart pounding, heavy beats.
The first ridiculous night of the PoF was headlined by EDM bigwig, Calvin Harris. But first, to build anticipation, the evening kicked off with openers Michael Woods and Burns.
Calvin Harris took to the DJ booth after midnight and kept the crowd going wild with a set over two hours long with all of his top hits, such as “I Need Your Love,” “We Found Love,” and “Sweet Nothing.” A good DJ anticipates the crowd’s mood, and Calvin Harris did just that all night long.
Fans were waiting his latest and greatest tracks and were thrilled when his newest hit, “Under Control,” came blasting through the tents.
Following a big act like that is sure to be tough, though proved to be no problem for R3hab. He closed the night off around 4:00am on a high note.
And this was all just the first night! Stay tuned for more Pier of Fear coverage.
Yours,
Von
