The Pier of Fear took over New York City for two weekends, plus Halloween night with costumed party-goers ready to rage all night long.
Headlining for Halloween night at the Pier of Fear was Krewella. The sensational trio consists of sisters Yasmine and Jahan Yousaf and Rain Man, and they made a pit stop to NYC as part of their Get Wet tour.
Krewella formed in 2007 and has since played at a slew of EDM festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, Stereosonic, and Electric Daisy Carnival, leading them to earn the 2012 International Dance Music Award for Best Breakthrough Artist.
While we were all waiting at Pier 94 off of the West Side Highway, Krewella started off their Halloween night at the Village’s Halloween parade. Ghosts and ghouls poured out from the streets as Krewella spun beats on their float and got the crowd dancing.
For the main attraction, Krewella came onstage with great fanfare, and the energy was extreme throughout their whole set. They played their top hits, include “Alive,” “Live For the Night,” and “Feel Me.” These youngsters do know how to get a crowd riled up and ready to party all night long.
