Socially Superlative was lucky enough to be invited to the Andaz Holiday Bazaar at Andaz Fifth Avenue.
Andaz and lifestyle and retail site Joyus have joined forces with Women for Women International to offer curated holiday gift options where all of the proceeds benefit the charity. The organization helps women who are survivors of war, civil strife or other traumatic events and provides tools and resources to aid in their stability and self-sufficiency.
Attendees perused the gift offerings while sipping “Bear Hugs,” and sampling hors d’oeuvres like Roast Squash with chile, garlic and rosemary, Leek and Potato Soup Shooters, and Peanut Butter Trifles with Hot Chocolate Shots among other dishes.
At the event itself, there were many innovative activities that you wouldn’t see at other parties. Upon entering the party, we came across the coolest thing we’ve ever seen, which was Michael Breach doing latte art! Anyone could give him a picture and he can make a likeness of it in their coffee!!
The uber-talented Flash Rosenberg, one of the artists offering gifts for the bazaar, gave out journals with personalized messages in the front.
We also got an introduction to 29 Cosmetics by founder Lydia Mondavi, who was giving mini makeovers and explaining the skincare line benefits utilizing grape seeds, something she discovered from the products of her husband’s winery.
To view all of the featured gifts for the Andaz Holiday Bazaar, where 100% of the proceeds are donated to Women for Women International, check them out on Joyus here.
