Last month, exclusive social network, IvyConnect celebrated their first anniversary at Bleecker Street Arts Club in the West Village. In true IvyConnect fashion, the company organized a salon discussion entitled, “Creativity & Innovation,” in honor of the occasion. Guests were treated to specialty cocktails and small bites in the intimate art gallery setting.
The event included an introduction from IvyConnect Founders, Beri Meric and Philipp Triebel, where they announced their expansion to other major cities in the coming year, including LA, San Francisco, Chicago and Miami. This is addition to already existing cities, Washington, DC, Boston, and of course, New York. They also established the Cadillac Ivy Innovator Award and Event Series, which will recognize the next generation of leading entrepreneurial minds in Technology, Film and Design.
The panel was comprised of some of their extraordinary existing members, who were chosen from the community’s 5,000+ pool of members. The panel included Ntiedo Etuk, CEO of DimensionU, Johnny Lee, President of the New York Heart Associates, Hillary Schafer, Executive Director of Jefferson Awards for Public Service, Nick Taranto, Co-Founder of Plated, and Jourdan Urbach, Violinist and Composer, who started off the program by performing an original composition. CNBC correspondent, Seema Mody moderated the panel and asked questions.
This event marked the beginning of a big year of exciting events and expansions for IvyConnect. The group will host over 200 social events this year for their members-only community. For more information, please visit www.ivy.com.
