Last week, the Socially Superlative team attend the launch of cityMANI with a chic event  – complete with manis, of course!

For those of you too lazy to leave your apartment to go to the salon – and let’s admit it, we’re all pretty lazy sometimes – cityMANI is like Seamless for your nails. cityMANI delivers nail services straight to your door, allowing you to make an appointment in your home, office, or pretty much anywhere at your convenience. Professional nail services right at your door!

We got to experience this first hand by getting manicures at a bar. cityMANI brought their talented nail artists to Hudson Terrace where guests received manis with Pretty Please Nail Polish. Pretty Please polishes are not only eye-catching with fun, bright colors, but you are able to order them online and customize the labels! Perfect for gifts and party favors. You can order as few as one bottle, but the more you buy, the more you save.

The gorgeous ladies of Mani Diaries and Dull Like Gliiter were chatting with guests and conducted a giveaway for Christian Louboutin‘s new line of nail polish, debuting with “Rogue Louboutin” with a striking 8-inch cap that mimics a sky-high stiletto shoe. You can pre-order the polish from Saks Fifth Avenue for the release of Rouge on August 6th, if you’re lucky. Priced at $50 a bottle, will this polish live up to the hype? Read more on this from Dull Like Glitter.

Speaking of glitter, eff.Y.bee jewelry set up shop at the event, where you could further dress up your flashy new mani by flashing a serious arm party with their stackable bracelets.

About Cari DeCoons, Co-Founder

A born and raised Manhattanite, Cari is a full-time working mom who needs her manicures as much as her morning coffee. When she realized that she wasn’t the only one being deprived of her favorite pastime because there were not enough hours in the day, she was determined to find a solution. For the last 10 years Cari has found her niche in sales, event marketing and corporate event planning while working with hundreds of companies like Viacom, AOL, Mashable, Morgan Stanley and Tiffany & Co. She has also found her passion in fundraising and has helped her large portfolio of non-profit organizations such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the National MS Society, AIDS Walk and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital raise hundreds of thousands of dollars. In the spare time she manages to find, Cari is also a publisher for Macaroni Kid Lower Manhattan. Eager to find a way to tie her passions together, Cari co-founded cityMANI; the most convenient manicure experience for any woman, no matter what her schedule is comprised of.
