One of our favorite shows during New York Fashion Week is Tadashi Shoji! Tadashi Shoji’s Spring 2015 Collection’s runway debut at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and be taken on an ethereal exploration of the artistry of Venice.

This designer has outfitted everyone from Michelle Obama to Oscar winners, and his motto is: “Every woman, regardless of size and shape, deserves to feel confident, comfortable and gorgeous.”

Tadashi Shoji collection was born and raised in Sendai, Japan. He began painting and drawing from a young age and eventually moved to Tokyo, where he studied fine art. His talent was soon recognized and he was recommended for an apprenticeship with Japan’s leading contemporary artist, Jiro Takamatsu, who is credited with paving the way for the modern art movement in Japan during the sixties.
