The countdown to Halloween is on! Malibu Black celebrated this spooky holiday season by hosting a private tour of the haunted Merchant’s House Museum, which was declared “Manhattan’s Most Haunted House,” by the New York Times.
After the tour, it was necessary to make a beeline to the bar to relax! We were shaken up some delicious cocktails to sooth our nerves.
Below are a few recipes to try and mix at home for your own Halloween fiesta.
The Green Beast
- 1 part Pernod Absinthe
- 1 part simple syrup
- 1 part fresh lime juice
- 4 parts water
- Thinly sliced cucumber wheels
Build in a Collins glass or punch bowl over ice. Garnish with cucumber slices.
Spiced Russian
- 1.5 parts Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice
- .5 part ABSOLUT Mandarin
- 1 part half and half
Build over ice in a rocks glass, and stir. Garnish with freshly-grated nutmeg.
Midnight Ghost
- 1 ½ parts Malibu® Black
- 1 part vanilla simple syrup*
- 1 part cream
- 1 part lemon-lime soda
Shake ingredients in a shaker filled with ice, then strain into a martini glass.
*For vanilla simple syrup, add a few drops vanilla extract to a mixture of one part sugar and one part water
Malibu® Black Cat
- 1 part Malibu® Black
- 3 parts ginger beer
Build over ice in a highball glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Pumpkin Cider
- 2 parts Kahlúa Pumpkin Spice
- Top with apple cider
- Lemon squeeze
Build over ice in a highball glass, and stir. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
