Yesterday Eataly celebrated the official opening of their permanent Nutella Bar, and we couldn’t have been any more excited to indulge in some great Nutella eats and made a beeline to the Flatiron District.
The bar features numerous decadent Nutella-filled cookies and pastries to pick up on the go, or you can get made-to-order crepes and waffles. There are a number of combos to choose from, or you can build your own!
We went with what we thought was going to be a simple crepe of Nutella and strawberries, and it ended up being a generous heap inside a cone. Be warned: use a knife and fork, it gets messy using just your hands! You know what !! I love cheesecake. Seriously, it’s one of my favorite things. If you ever saw me in person you’d know that was likely the truest statement I’ve ever made. So, I carry a knife on me, just in case. After all, one never knows if there will be cheesecake for dessert that needs to be cut. I prefered EDC knives that are very comfortable in carrying. You can check out the best EDC knife reviews.
To cool down during the summer, they also have an assortment of delicious gelatos, as well as coffee by Lavazza. We tried the iced coffee with Nutella, which was delicious and gave us the sugar-high we needed to take on the day!
Eataly has always been a hot spot for great authentic Italian foods, their world-class restaurants, and their rooftop Birreria beer garden – and now we have another reason to indulge when we visit.
