On September 10th, rain did not dampen the mood at the world famous all-white dinner party, Le Dîner en Blanc which took place at Boston’s City Hall Plaza.
1,500 guests decked out in the finest post-Labor day whites brought tables, chairs, and flair into the covered courtyard to enjoy dinner ushered in by the traditional waving of the white napkin.
An elegant and fun ambiance was created in part by The White Heat Swing Orchestra followed by beats spun by DJ Nixx as partygoers spun about LED sparklers and donned the white masks provided to them.
The free flowing Apothic Wine and delicious Lanson Champagne also helped to keep the mood lifted despite the inclement weather. Fingers crossed that next years event will have the perfect weather to make for fearless wearing of the requisite whites.
