Whoever said that Halloween should only be one night doesn’t know RPM.
This year, the New York promoter’s signature Pier of Fear event is kicking off the spookiest weekend of the year on Friday October 30th with the legendary Armin van Buuren, making 2015 the most epic Halloween you’ve ever seen. Armin van Buuren returns to Pier 94 after a sold out show last December.
This show comes on the tail of a record-breaking year for Armin van Buuren, a year capped by the release of his sixth and latest full-length studio album EMBRACE, out October 29 on Armada Music. The GRAMMY® nominated artist says “The idea was to ‘EMBRACE’ several different instruments and sounds, and incorporate them into my sound. I hope my fans will ‘EMBRACE’ this new chapter in my life.”
One of the world’s leading electronic dance music DJs/producers, GRAMMY®nominated Armin van Buuren is one of the most influential figures in the music industry today. His weekly two-hour” A State Of Trance” (ASOT) radio show is heard by more than 33 million listeners on 100 FM radio stations in 84 countries.
In the far reaches of Manhattan’s West Side, Pier 94 has become a premiere destination for concerts. The massive space has a warehouse vibe, plus views up, down and across the Hudson River, creating an NYC experience like no other. All RPM events feature world-class sound, lighting and effects, not to mention performances, costumes, and dancers.. from the gory to the gorgeous, joining you in the chant and on the dancefloor as we weave a musical dreamscape. Costumes, makeup and creativity are strongly encouraged, because remember – you’re part of the show too!
RPM is the world’s premier dance music focused marketing and management group; founded by Pacha NYC owner Eddie Dean and promotional director Rob Fernandez. In the last year alone, their team has produced over 200 events in and around New York City, including Pier of Fear at Pier 94 and Electric Daisy Carnival New York.
