Last week, the Junior Board hosted a special happy hour on behalf of the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP). The event was a great way to usher in the summer, featuring an open bar on the Bar Hugo Rooftop.
It was a casual event where guests were able to mingle and chat while enjoying the nice summer evening. In additional to the open bar, the event featured cans of The Drop rosé wine. How brilliant is canned rosé for the summer?! This product launched less than two months ago, so it is slowly trickling into the NYC marketplace.
Right now you can find it served at Home Sweet Home in the Lower East Side, but if you don’t feel like returning back to that place where you’ve undoubtedly done something regrettable, check out where to locate a pack here and follow them on Twitter @thatroselife for more updates.

The event also featured delicious desserts from C-CAP alumna Jennifer Edwards of Sweet Euphoria. The beautiful display included macarons, cupcakes, and mini eclairs.
The event also featured raffles to help fundraise that included great prizes, such as: dinner and wine tasting for four at Craft Bar, dinner for two at No7 Restaurant, brunch at Peacock Alley in the Waldorf Astoria, a day spa retreat, a handbag and cologne from Ralph Lauren, a cooking workshop, and a dinner for two at Loi Estiatorio.
A great event to kick-off the summer season! For more information and updates, visit Culinary Arts Program.
