Josh Pond kicked off Josh Pond Ice Cream Week at Morgenstern’s ice cream parlor on June 12th in anticipation of wild blueberry season.
Two exclusive flavors were unveiled in partnership with Nick Morgenstern, including a dairy free blueberry soft serve and a blueberry cheesecake flavor, both made with Josh Pond blueberries from Maine. Attendees snapped photos of the very Insta-worthy flavors while sipping on bubbly.
The ice cream party started at Morgenstern’s but didn’t stop there with other celebrations happening during the week at Chinatown Ice Cream Factory, Davey’s Ice Cream, Il Laboratorio del Gelato, Melt Bakery, Mikey Likes It and 10 Below, each offering an unique house-made ice cream flavor incorporating Josh Pond blueberries.
The event was only a week, but the shops may have some residual batches left over or there’s always next time!
