Right before the Coronavirus took over the US, International outerwear and accessory brand Nobis hosted their Spring 2020 launch with Grey’s Anatomy star Giacomo Gianniotti at The Standard, High Line.
The Canadian-Italian actor/philanthropist was introduced as the new face of the brand in a multi-year partnership. This is the actors first fashion partnership. Garrett Neff (Model), Alex Lundqvist (Model), and Robin Yates (Co-Founder and Vice President) were also in attendance for the fête.
The new collection decorated the walls in accessible styles for men and women. Light bites and signature cocktails were served while guests reveled in the branded GIF photo booth. Yates addressed the crowd halfway through the event and screened Gianniotti’s promo video. According to Yates, “Giacomo’s philanthropic spirit is inspiring and is a natural fit with Nobis’ brand values. We’re incredibly excited to have him at the forefront of our team of global ambassadors.”
Gianniotti then spoke fondly about the partnership and revealed it was something that was years in the making. “I am thrilled to be partnering with Nobis as their Global Brand Ambassador,” says Gianniotti. “Their passion to create beautiful outerwear and commitment to giving back to their community is truly inspiring. I could not be prouder of our collaboration.”
Nobis has supported Gianniotti’s philanthropic endeavors by outfitting the actor for his trek to Mount Everest with non-profit disaster relief organization All Hands and Hearts, to help earthquake victims in Nepal. The actor also has an ongoing partnership with Los Angeles–based organization My Friend’s Place, which aims to end homelessness among youth. Given the current situation, for the remainder of the month Nobis will also be donating 100% of it’s online sales to COVID-19 relief efforts.
Nobis is available in over 35 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria, Japan, South Korea, and their home base, Canada.
