Chef’s Dinner Series opens its season on October 15 with a multi-course dinner celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month and haute Puerto Rican cuisine. Guests will enjoy dishes by Que Chevere’s Executive Chef, Maro Gjurasic, paired with Don Q’s new special release product, Reserva 7.
The event marks the return of Chef’s Dinner Series, a supper club launched in 2013 by Ronnie Rodriguez. An event space and culinary salon entrepreneur, Ronnie modeled the series after the “Puerta Cerrada” dinners of Buenos Aires. More than 20 dinners have been hosted since its launch, profiling diverse eateries and chefs across the city.
The menu is a fete for Latin cuisine aficionados, featuring plantain cups stuffed with lobster, queso blanco with guava and house-made bacon, and snapper with crispy pernil and smoked “QC” (Que Chevere) sauce (full menu here).
