In 2018, Dolce & Gabbana outdid themselves when they traveled to New York City and presented a three-day event that took place at famous venues throughout the city:

While many people believed that this New York City event could never be topped, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana outdid themselves once again in 2021. Back in Venice, the luxury lifestyle brand hosted a three-day event that combined a stunning Alta Moda collection with entertainment, stunning historical backdrops, an elite audience of the rich and famous, and celebratory parties featuring champagne and dancing.
The show started with a bang when Jennifer Hudson sang “Nessum Dorma” to the elite audience of A-list celebrities, including Megan Thee Stallion, Jennifer Lopez, Ciara, Kris Jenner, Sean Combs, Doja Cat, and Kourtney Kardashian. The Alta Moda show itself featured models being transported to the walkway by gondolas. The A-list audience was thrilled to see that many of the models were the daughters of celebrity parents, including Sean Combs, Heidi Klum, Christian Bale, and Monica Belluci. And, of course, every piece in the Alta Moda collection was exquisite, with the craftsmanship of local artisans and the colors and spirit of Sicilian culture shining through.
