On behalf of STREETS International, please join for the 8th annual STREETS Eats tasting event on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, featuring NYC’s top chefs and mixologists as well as a live + silent auction to benefit the organization.

STREETS is a non-profit that is part hospitality school and part restaurant café in historic Hoi An, Vietnam, where local, disadvantaged youth are offered an 18-month training program designed to give them the tools and skills to achieve financial independence.

Held at The Astor Center, guest chefs will serve their interpretation of Southeast Asian street foods complimented by an open bar with signature cocktails throughout the evening-and this year, introducing Odd Fellows beloved Thai Iced Cream-with participants including:

Throughout an 18-month comprehensive training program at the STREETS International Restaurant Café in Vietnam, STREETS International dramatically changes the lives of children in developing countries and provides them with the opportunity to work in five star hotels and restaurants, among other hospitality professions. The STREETS International Gala Event is an important component to secure the funding and support necessary for the program, and ultimately turns its mission into a reality.
