February 15th: Jordana PR threw a celebration in order to commemorate the Fall 2009 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week going on in New York!  It was small affair at our favorite Greek restaurant in Astoria, Ovelia, who recently celebrated their 2nd anniversary, where local accessories vendors congregated to showcase their wonderful designs.

There were great jewelry collections presented by Lisa Grant; Elena Marinakis for Kokalaki Jewelry; Antoinette Bibis of Leather by Antoinette who showed colorful bow earrings made of soft leather; Lorina Ladrillono of Beadscarf where you can even submit your own scarf to be transformed into a new accessory Butterfly Stitches by Sofia Voyiatzis with an array of handmade hats, scarves and blankets; and Eleni Giamonitis, designer of Little Dream Bags specializing in custom embroidery bags.  Also, there was a table for the Little Soap Shop with natural handmade bath and body products.

In addition to accessories, there were designers and artists presenting their works of other mediums.  Painter Gabriele Perici and Nik Vlahos; even tattoo artiss H.S. of Olde Monk Ink; and architecture designers Gustavo Penengo and Philip Rossillo were there representing PR Design Group.

Representing the music industry was DJ Hunter Laine who kept the crowd going all night while we enjoyed the open bar.  My friends and I ended up linger longer to order the delicious Greek food and wines.
