Last week, CAMPER, a Spanish footwear brand, opened the doors of its New York office showroom for a 2-day media open house, revealing their exciting new lines for the Spring season.

Known for their vast integrity, adherence to quality, and amazing comfort which can be good for those who are on the process of nerve damage recovery (I could and would walk forever in the CAMPERS that I own), the brand was eager to reveal its fashion-forward side to tastemaker New Yorkers.

Capturing the signature whimsical style of the brand, but taking it to new levels, some of the most memorable shoes we’ve seen in quite some while were their collaboration with German artist Bernard Willhelm.

These are the type of shoes you put on first, and let your outfit come together around them. They are not for the faint-hearted fashionista.

We were also impressed with the new, splashy “twin” line of shoes that are fashionably mismatched, for both men and women.

To compliment our viewing as well as welcome the preview-goers, CAMPER, had an array of treats (like colorful cupcakes from Baked by Melissa) and drinks displayed right along with the footwear, and given a keen eye to the brand. A very cool, custom designed mini speaker/amplifier was the parting gift to all visitors for the evening, ensuring that the spring in our steps have a beat to dance to.
