gay-and-married

We couldn’t be happier about the launch of www.happyhappygaygay.com, an online printable greeting card company with cards that are specifically written and designed to celebrate same sex love and marriage. The icing on the (wedding) cake is that a portion of each card sale is going to a wellknown LGBT charity.

Each beautiful card is written and designed by fellow blogger, Emily Belden of Chicago. The witty cards feature shortandsweet copy along with a satirical, simple design.

HAPPY HAPPY GAY GAY

Belden conceptualized HAPPY HAPPY GAY GAY after realizing there was a limited selection of cards dedicated to this demographic. “My gay friend was one of the first to get married after DOMA died. My option was to send him a greeting card clearly meant for a straight couple, or send nothing at all. So I sent nothing at all,” she explained. About a month later, she launched the slick eCommerce site where shoppers, gay or straight, can easily nab one of the printable designs for just $5 with a portion of each purchase going to a popular LGBT nonprofit.

“These foundations and projects have kept some of my best friends alive. They give countless people hope and strength everyday and I want my cards to help fund that.”After each purchase, shoppers receive a link to their email prompting the download. The process is quick, easy, and affordable. Customers are also encouraged to get creative with the print by using colored or thicker paper.
