Attention, cognac lovers! To celebrate the launch of their newest campaign, Courvousier has launched a new Courvoisiology Lab.

To kick of the festivities they held a huge bash at SIR Stage 37 where mixologists Duane Fernandez Jr. and Moses Laboy whipped up some delicious and innovative cocktails featuring the cognac brand. Partyers sipped on drinks like Rose Petal Punch, featuring Courvoisier Rosé, Elderflower Liqueur and Ginger Beer and Sunset in Paris, which contained Courvoisier Gold, DeKuyper Amaretto and fresh Lemon Sour.

Guests also nibbled on cognac infused hors d’oeuvres from celebrity chef Roblé Ali.  The tasty creations included caramel pear tatin, Portobello mushroom frite, bacon and duck mac and cheese and toasted marshmallow milkshakes.

Celebrities in attendance were singers Elle Varner, Melanie Fiona and Kelly Rowland, who gave a rousing performance.

When asked about her style philosophy, Kelly, who wore a black button down shirt and cream colored pants said, “You wear the clothes, don’t let the clothes wear you.” The r&b diva also revealed her biggest beauty secret. She wears Vaseline under her eyes, a trick she learned from a friends mother.

The crowd rocked out to some of Kelly’s recent hits like Motivation and Like This, as well as a medley of tunes from her days with Destiny’s Child.
