Crystal Light Liquid joined Words with Friends® on May 8th at the Cabanas at the Maritime Hotel to launch the world’s largest group game of Words with Friends. The pairing was not one that would automatically be associated together, but once it was explained that both Crystal Light Liquid and Words with Friends “squeeze fun into you day,” it came clear why the two worked so well together.
American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, an avid Crystal Light and Words with Friends fan, was on hand to host the event and launch the game. She also feels that the game is great to get kids to learn while still having fun.
Due to mother nature, the game was not displayed on the side of the Maritime Hotel as anticipated, but the show went on. Not only were there brand ambassadors outside sharing what looked like jet packs of water and Crystal Light Liquid with innocent bystanders that may have not tried the product before, but there were tables upstairs set up with samples of the different flavors and the giveaways associated with each flavor.
Socially Superlative also got a chance to talk to Jordin about non-Crystal Light and Words with Friends-related items. When asked how fans would react to seeing her in the new gritty movie, “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete,” Jordin replied, “I hope they’re ready!” When describing the movie that was produced by Alicia Keys, she did preface that her role was not as shocking as her costar, Jennifer Hudson’s transformation.
When it comes to her forthcoming album, Jordin feels like she’s “hit her stride,” and is hoping for a fall release. Regarding the rumored duets on both boyfriend Jason Derulo and her album, Jordin shared that they found songs that fit on both their albums and hopes it will make the final cut. She currently has 20 contenders that she feels are strong enough to make the release.
We then decided to have a little bit of fun and ask what Jordin would like to get her hands into next and she didn’t hesitate to say, makeup! According To Jordin, unless it’s a red carpet event, she always does her own makeup and finds the whole process really interesting.
It was exciting to be at an event for something that has never been done before! We’re excited to see what they come up with next!
