Must like the majority of the North East, we’re seriously bummed out by the winter. We were excited to take a brief, short-lived break from the cold and #EscapewithMalibu.

Malibu Rum hosted an intimate cocktail reception at Reunion Bar with a vibrant Caribbean theme. Complete with island-inspired cocktails, guests were whisked away to a tropical getaway.

We loved the funky decor of the bar, really getting us in the mood for summer weather! To really get things going, there were three gorgeous ladies performing hula dances throughout the evening.

We enjoyed some delicious bites, including juice burgers, calamari, cheese sticks, and the favorite dish of the night, the fried fish tacos. To cool off, Malibu served up some boozy made-to-order shaved ice!

Malibu Cranberry Lemonade

• 1 part MALIBU
• ½ part cranberry juice
• Lemon soda
• 1 lemon wedge

Fill a chilled highball glass with ice cubes. Add MALIBU and cranberry juice. Top up with lemon soda. Garnish with lemon wedge.

Malibu Rapple

• 1 part MALIBU
• 2 parts cloudy apple juice
• Raspberries
• Green apple wedges

Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add MALIBU, cloudy apple juice and raspberries. Shake and strain into a chilled highball glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with green apple wedges and raspberries.

Malibu ISLAND SPICED Iced Tea

• 1 part MALIBU ISLAND SPICED
• 1 part Iced tea
• 1 part Lemon juice
• 1 lemon wedge

Pour all the ingredients over cubed ice in a highball glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Malibu RED Tropical Margarita

• 1 part MALIBU RED
• ½ part lime juice
• ½ part agave syrup
• Sea salt

Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add MALIBU RED and the rest of the ingredients and shake. Strain into a cocktail glass rimmed with sea salt.

Malibu ISLAND SPICED Mojito

• 1 part MALIBU ISLAND SPICED
• 2 spoons of Truvia
• 3 lime wedges
• Mint sprigs
• 2 parts soda water

Add lime wedges and truvia to a chilled highball glass. Muddle. Add ice cubes. Add mint leaves. Stir. Add MALIBU ISLAND SPICED. Top up with soda water. Garnish with mint sprigs.

Malibu BLACK Stormy

• 1 ½ parts MALIBU BLACK
• Ginger beer
• 1 lime wedge
• Slice of ginger

Pour the ingredients over ice into a highball glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of ginger.

Malibu BLACK Sunset

• 1 part MALIBU BLACK
• Splash of almond-flavored liqueur or orange juice
• Splash of cranberry juice
• 1 orange wedge

Pour MALIBU BLACK over ice in a rocks glass. Add a splash of almond-flavored liqueur or orange juice and cranberry juice. Garnish with an orange wedge

Sparkling Daiquiri

• Malibu Rum Sparkler
• Half a lime
• 1 tsp. simple syrup

Squeeze half a lime. Add simple syrup, fill up flute with Malibu Rum Sparkler.

Malibu RED Sunrise Punch

• 1 part MALIBU RED
• 2/5 parts fresh lime juice
• 3/5 parts fresh pink grapefruit juice
• 2/5 parts raspberry syrup
• A dash of Pernod Absinthe

Stir all the ingredients on ice in a rock glass. Top with a dash of Pernod Absinthe.

Pinetini

• 3 parts Malibu Peach Sparkler
• 1 part Absolut Citron
• 1 part Pineapple Juice

Add pineapple juice and Absolut Citron to a chilled champagne glass. Top with Malibu Peach Sparkler.
