110 East 42nd Street

City Harvest’s 22nd annual gala, An Evening of Practical Magic, will honor supporters whose efforts have played a significant role in the fight against hunger in New York City. This year, the event will honor François Payard, chef of FP Patisserie, FPB, Payard Patisserie & Bistro; Michael A. Young, City Harvest Board member; and Credit Suisse for their ongoing commitment to helping City Harvest feed hungry New Yorkers.

Guests will enjoy a special evening including cocktails and silent auction, followed by an elegant dinner and dynamic live auction.

The event will raise funds to support City Harvest’s work rescuing good food that would otherwise go to waste and delivering it to hungry New Yorkers—a mission that has been referred to as “practical magic.”
In 2015, the event attracted 600 people and raised over $3 million for City Harvest’s hunger relief programs.
