On Monday afternoon, September 9th, I attended the runway show of GEORGINE for the Spring/Summer 2015 collection. If you are on the lookout for gorgeous and luxurious beachwear, she is the one to turn to this season!

For beachwear and swimwear GEORGINE thought outside of the box and it paid off. Making use of leader, silk and neoprene as beach wear is not your typical fabrics but because of the thoughtful design and the attention to the colors in her collection she managed to transform unusual fabrics into something completely fresh and light.

Her use of dimmed colors referenced the ’70 and also had the feel of the days of Copacabana in the ‘50s. How she made that transition is beyond me, but it is what made this collection innovative and stand out this Fashion Week.

Although GEORGINE was not in the big runways she is really starting to create a name for herself and a lot of celebrities are attending her shows because of her feminine, classic yet sexy way of designing. You better start paying attention to her! These were to just to name a few who attended her show this Monday afternoon: Bianca Santos, Miss J, LuAnn de Lesseps, Edy Ganem, Katy Tiz, Stephanie Quayle and Kimiko Glenn.
