Loft 676 hosted a lovely showcase for event planners (and media!), elegantly entitled Innovation on Thursday, February 4th, 2010.  The loft is situation in the heart of the Village near Soho, a great venue for an elegant party that would comfortably host about 150 people.

The event highlighted a few great vendors that are renowned in the New York City event planning scene, from lighting and photography services to full-service event planners.  Guests were able to wander around at their leisure and have a taste of the drinks, chocolates, and hors d’oeuvres.

We recognized a few industry people from previous events, but we recognized even more event crashers that we see scouring the scene.  But a great time was had by all, and everyone chatted and mingled, enjoying the scene.

LOVVVED the chocolates from Le Maison du Chocolate!  We were urged to try the “Andalouise” lemon ganache which was great, but my personal favorites were the black tea ganache, tied with the almond praline.  The passed hors d’oeuvres were tasty morsels, but a few suspicious guests tended to hoard the attention of the caterers.

We can’t wait to see event invitations that will take place at Loft 676!
